Dr. Ramesh Perumal earned his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering (2007) from Anna University, India, followed by a Master of Science (M.S.) in Embedded System Design (2011) from Manipal University, India, and a Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Communication Systems (2013) from Anna University.
He completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (2021), specializing in Neuroengineering, at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. He has authored publications in six peer-reviewed journals and presented at twelve international conferences. With over a decade of professional experience in software development and Edge AI, Dr. Perumal currently serves as a Software Enabling and Optimization Engineer at Intel in Penang, Malaysia.
In this role, he advises customers on infrastructure rightsizing and performance optimization for production-grade, scalable AI deployments leveraging heterogeneous accelerators. His research interests include deep learning and model optimization strategies for deploying computer vision, large language model (LLM), and multi-agentic enterprise workflow automation applications on resource-constrained edge devices.

Her expertise lies in large-scale operational transformation; she has successfully turned disjointed global factory units into high-performance manufacturing hubs by streamlining supply chains of over 600 parts across 300 global suppliers through advanced business systems and data automation.
Today, she is a leading voice in the AI evolution of TPM role, focusing on real-world applications of Statistical Learning and Generative AI. Her work includes building data excellence projects from the ground up, deploying custom AI agents for technical analysis, and implementing AI-powered factory inspections to drive operational efficiency and precision manufacturing.
